Grades

I have been successfully teaching pupils of all ages, both privately and at a number of music studios, for more than 18 years.

I prepare pupils for grade examinations, festivals and entry exams as well as teaching just for relaxation and pleasure.

I am very happy to teach beginners and believe beginner classes should be fun as well as instructive.

I teach primarily to the ABRSM curriculum (Associated Board of the Royal School of Music). The Associated Board offers a diverse range of exams and assessments to meet the changing needs of different learners in today's world. These range from the Prep Test and Music Medals for the earliest stages of learning through to professional diplomas at the highest levels of musical achievement and encompass exams for ensembles and choirs, jazz exams, and provision for adult learners and those with special educational needs along the way.
